Terms of use

These terms set the rules for using CollectionDB (https://collectiondb.org), published by Axordow Studios ("we"). By creating an account or using the site, you accept them.

1. The service

CollectionDB is a free, collaborative database of collectibles, with tools to manage a personal collection (statuses, lists, shipments, shelves, notifications). We may change, add or remove features at any time, and the site may be unavailable during maintenance or because of technical problems. The service is provided "as is", without any guarantee of availability or of accuracy of the catalogue.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 15 years old to create an account, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Content flagged as NSFW is only for adults (18+): do not enable it if you are a minor.
  • Give a valid email address and keep your login details secret. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
  • One person, one account. Accounts may not be sold or shared.
  • Your username must not impersonate someone else, or be offensive.
  • You can stop using CollectionDB at any time, and delete your account yourself in your settings (see the privacy policy).

3. What you publish

You can add and edit items, entities, images, descriptions, tags and your profile. You remain the owner of your contributions, but by publishing them you:

  • confirm that you have the right to publish them (in particular, that you took the pictures yourself or are allowed to use them);
  • give Axordow Studios a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt (resize, crop, translate, correct) and distribute them as part of CollectionDB, for as long as the service exists;
  • accept that other users improve, correct or replace them: the catalogue is shared, and contributions to it (items, entities, images, edit history) stay in it if you leave.

Your collection, lists, shipments, shelves and notes are yours: they stay private or public as you choose in your settings, and are deleted with your account.

4. Rules of conduct

Follow the guidelines. In particular, it is forbidden to:

  • publish illegal content, including any sexual content involving minors or depicting real people without their consent, hate speech, harassment or threats;
  • upload content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy;
  • post adult content without flagging it as NSFW, or put NSFW pictures on your profile;
  • vandalise the catalogue, add false information on purpose, or spam (ads, referral links, repeated content);
  • use bots or scrapers that overload the site, try to access other accounts or data you are not allowed to see, or bypass the site's security or limits.

5. Moderation

Moderators and administrators may edit, hide or delete any content, and limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the guidelines, with or without notice depending on how serious the breach is. Report a problem, or contest a decision, by writing to contact.axordow.studios@gmail.com: we answer every report about illegal content quickly and tell you what we decided.

6. Intellectual property

The site itself (code, design, logo, the database as a whole) belongs to Axordow Studios. Copying a substantial part of the database, by scraping or otherwise, is not allowed without written permission. Product names, brands and product pictures belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the products; CollectionDB is not affiliated with them.

7. Prices, shops and links

Prices, release dates and exchange rates are indicative and may be wrong or outdated. Links to shops and other websites are given for convenience: we do not control them and are not part of any purchase you make there.

8. Liability

As far as the law allows, Axordow Studios is not liable for indirect damages, for loss of data, or for content published by users. Keep your own copy of anything important to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; for important changes, we will inform users on the site or by email before they apply. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. Please contact us first so that we can find a solution together; if we cannot, the competent French courts will decide, subject to the mandatory rules that protect consumers in their own country.
